  10. Introduction
  11. ------------
  12. This   little   program  should  be  named  MultiView  and  placed  in  the
  13. SYS:Utilities  directory.   I wrote it because I use OS 2.1 and when unpack
  14. archives from Aminet or the like, I have this situation:  doubleclick on an
  15. icon and a requester pops up :

  17.  Unable to open your tool 'MultiView'
  18.  
  19. Here  is  where  this  program  comes  in.  It is called instead of the 3.x
  20. MultiView  and for all the file types there is a configured viewer that you
  21. like best.

  23. How to use it?
  24. --------------
  25. Very simple. Just edit program tooltypes.
  26. It was written using AmigaE version 3.2a.  Sorry Wouter but non-registered.
  27.  
  28. I  put  in  my  favourite  vieers  &  players.   To  change that, just edit
  29. tooltypes to fit your needs.

  31. Some problems
  32. -------------
  33. -  viewers must be in your path or given with complete path, when used
  34.   (DOS.library`s Execute function related)
  35.   (any ideas for fixing, please contact me)
  36. - doesn`t replace OS 3.x data types
  37.   (maybe in future 8->> )
  38. - no external prefs file/program
  39.   (maybe in future 8->> )
  40. - can handle only commands up to 512 characters
  41.   (max. CLI command length is 512)
